My name is Brad, and my goal here is to help you improve your conversation skills as well as your confidence in speaking. As an introvert myself, I tried to avoid conversations in the past, mostly due to a lack of confidence. Over time I realized that good conversations don’t always come naturally, and that there are skills that can be learned to improve them. 

If English is your second or third language, conversations can be extra challenging because now you have a cultural barrier to cross on top of it all. Plus, if you’re not totally comfortable with the language itself, that can strip away your confidence too. 

My jobs, school, and social circles made it necessary to learn and use these skills over the years. Make no mistake, I am still an introvert, but I can engage in good conversation with the confidence to do so. 

The more people I met, and the more conversations I engaged in, I began to realize how many people are really bad at it. Of course there are those that are naturally great at it as well. 

When I started teaching English as a second language, I focused a lot on the conversation side of it. So, I decided to create this website, courses, and other training to help others improve their conversation skills too. While I do cater to ESL learners a lot, this site and all the training can apply to anybody. 

Who am I?

I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, in the United States. I have studied, traveled, volunteered, or worked in numerous countries throughout South America, Africa, and Asia. In recent times, I had been in South Korea where I taught several years in public high schools.
I am currently tutoring English and doing some internet marketing. 

I hold a degree in International Studies with a minor in English Linguistics, and am also CELTA certified. Before obtaining these qualifications, I received a degree in Computer Science, and have over 20 years programming experience. 

Besides traveling, my hobbies include many outdoor activities such as hiking, bicycling, and kayaking. I also enjoy cooking and keeping up with current events.
